Types of Stag Nights & Hen Parties

Broadly speaking, there are mainly two different types of Stag Nights or Hen Parties.

Type 1 for Stag Nights is just the get together of (usually) all male mates and members of the family of the groom, often meeting up in a bar, maybe moving on to other bars, and having a great laugh. Type 1 for hen parties is pretty much the same sort of a thing – but obviously, the friends and family of the bride will generally all be female. Type 1 is very cost-effective, both for the wedding couple and all the invitees.

Type 2 covers a much wider range of possibilities. Almost “anything goes” on Stag nights and Hen parties – and many venues throughout the UK nowadays, especially in London, cater for Stag and Hen parties. Stag weekends abroad and Hen weekends abroad are becoming increasingly popular – and Amsterdam is often one of the first considerations for a Stag weekend.
