Bridal Jewellery

Bridal Jewellery

When considering the bridal jewellery, it’s often better to approach it “softly-softly”. Unless you are attempting to have the jewellery as focal points, rather than the wedding apparel, the effect of the bride's jewellery is not usually expected to detract from her bridal gown and headwear. Wedding jewellery, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets and ankle bracelets, generally tend to “whisper” not “shout”. But if you like to be a bit outrageous, maybe it is that you would prefer to wear chunky jewellery on your wedding day. That being the case (unless you are unusually garish in your taste) you will almost certainly prefer to be wearing a less frivolous wedding gown. And if you do decide that "loud" bridal adornments would help to create a bit of extra fun to the day, by being worn both by the bride and bridesmaids, then just ask yourself: "Why not? - It's my choice." The overall effect generally works better when decisions on the bridal jewellery follow the choices on the bridal attire. And let's not forget other VIPs who will be "on full show" on the wedding day or day of civil ceremony. As well as male jewellery such as rings and necklesses, gentlemen may wish to consider purchasing a very fine pair of cufflinks.
