Planning a wedding in any country is never an “easy ride” for bridal couples. There are countless of things needing consideration and sorting. And half the problems can be trying to get everything to “slot into place” neatly with regards to timing on the wedding day or the day of the Civil Partnership.

There are several different spellings and titles for “wedding organisers”. Some spell ‘organisers’ with an ‘z’ in the middle: wedding organizers. Others give themselves the title of “wedding planners” or more specifically, “reception planners” or “wedding ceremony planners” or "civil ceremony planners". Some prefer the title of “wedding co-ordinators” - or “wedding coordinators” (without the hyphen).

For many engaged couples, their wedding organiser, or civil partnership organiser, is a rose by any other name.
