Planning a Wedding Stage 23 - Bagpipers & Wedding Chimney Sweeps
A wedding chimney sweep is not something we often see at weddings. However, if you want to add a bit of extra fun, and certainly if you want something slightly different and wish to have some really quirky wedding photographs amongst your collection, what better than to be viewing a mock chimney sweep? Posing there, in his imitation of dirty clothes and chimney sweeping brush, in contrast to the bride and groom and all the wedding guests in all their wedding finery, - he definitely adds a touch of hilarity to any wedding day.
But if you wish to have a more serene occasion on your wedding day, there are few things worth more of a consideration than a Scottish or Irish bagpiper. Irish pipers and Scottish pipers help to provide a special ambiance on wedding days. Often they are booked purely to walk around the wedding guests, playing their pipes, whilst wedding guests relax between the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception. They are generally hired to pipe the guests into a wedding ceremony venue or wedding reception venue. Other times, they will be requested to provide their pipe music, for a selected length of minutes, immediately following a wedding ceremony at the wedding ceremony venue. They are also often employed to provide their haunting and wonderful music at intervals during the actual wedding ceremony itself - or alternatively (or as well as) they may be asked to accompany other musicians and/or a vocalist during the wedding ceremony.
