Planning a Wedding Stage 21 - Outdoor & Indoor Fireworks
Other things often considered "a must" by bridal couples are outdoor fireworks and possibly indoor sparklers.
For any bride and groom wishing to be almost certain of having a grand finale on their wedding day, what better way of achieving this – than a display of outdoor fireworks? Delight all your guests with a flash and a whizz and a bang. It’s highly unlikely to become “a damp squib” as even if it is pouring with rain, it doesn't generally affect firework displays. And many venues have an overhang on their premises - which allows all the guests to appreciate viewing a great outdoor firework display, - enjoying a drink of wine, beer or soft drink whilst keeping nice and dry.
Indoor fireworks are usually sparklers. The guests can have great fun at a wedding reception.
It is likely that good supervision will require sorting by the bride and groom. And just need to make an obvious word of caution as there is always a danger element with anything regarding fire. You will need to mention to venue manager if you are considering having fireworks of any description, whether indoor sparklers or an outdoor firework display, in advance of making arrangements with firework suppliers, to ensure that the venue is agreeable to sparklers, rockets etc.
